Symbolic weddings
Symbolic weddings are great option for couples not wanting to work through all the legal paperwork but still wishing to hold a romantic destination wedding in Slovakia with all the trimmings can plan a symbolic wedding.
Symbolic wedding gives you the most flexibility in that you can write your own vows, add readings and music as they wish. It can be held in a location of your choice as well.
A symbolic wedding is:
- No restrictions on the location, even outdoors
- Ceremony not given by a member of the religious community or government
- Ceremony performed by an English speaking officiator
- No civil or church marriage requirements, no paperwork
- You choose the style and format
- Symbolic certificate
- Includes services you wish to incorporate such as a soloist or flowers

Price includes:
- Assistance in planning your ceremony - personal wedding planner from the day you book your wedding until your wedding day
- Research in locating venue and vendors that fit your needs and wants for your wedding (vendors include photographer, caterer, florist, DJ, etc...)
- Consult on wedding etiquette, ceremony traditions, roles and responsibilities, guest list, and seating arrangement
- Secure hotel accommodations for guests and bridal party
- Personalized budget and detailed wedding day itinerary
- Symbolic wedding ceremony
- Wedding day direction - wedding coordinator during your wedding day (up to 5 hours)
- English speaking ceremony officiator
- Symbolic Certificate
- Transportation for couple to and from the ceremony (standard car)
- Organ music for the ceremony
- Toast after the ceremony
- WeddingsInSlovakia Fee incl. work of planner during the whole communication process with the clients (email and phone)
- Shipment of the documents, pictures, video - via Fed Ex or DHL
Symbolic wedding on the terrace, boat, in the gardens or at historical venue: 1.600 EUR
The price does not include the rental fee of the venue that might be required.
Price does not include:
- bank charges 3,5% for credit card payments, 1,5% for bank account transfers (from the total price)
- surcharge for Sat/Sun ceremonies - 10% of the price
- 2nd wedding planner at the wedding day (more info bellow)
Wedding planner for 5 hours at your wedding day is incl. in the price; each extra hour costs 60 EUR. For weddings of 50 and more guests are required 2 wedding planners. The price for 2 wedding planners is 100 EUR. The reason why to have 2 wedding planners is to secure our services and provide the best quality.
Payment conditions
Booking deposit is 50% of the price. Booking deposit is non-refundable.
Next payments:
- 40% is required no later than 30 days prior to the wedding day
- the balance payment is required no later than 1 day prior to the wedding day
- for payments in cash we provide 5% discount (from max. 4.000 EUR)
Site inspection
Having trouble making a decision and find that time is ticking away? If you are finding yourself a little hesitant in signing that contract, because you're just not sure, why not take a ride with us!
One of our event planners would meet you at your hotel and you would be accompanied. At all venues you would visit the facilities and meet with service providers. We'll offer our experience in working with vendors, as well as our expertise of matching the right vendor for YOUR event. We'll let you know if you're getting a good value and perhaps point out things you might not have seen. By the end of the day, making a decision will be a piece of cake.
